Who we are
AI Consultant Manchester is the North West branch of The AI Consultancy (London) Ltd. We deliver practical AI training, workflow automation, AI agents, and marketing automation to small and medium-sized businesses across Greater Manchester. We were established to bring the group's existing delivery capability closer to the businesses that use it, with a local presence covering Manchester city centre, Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Altrincham, and the wider North West.
Our work is led by commercial outcomes, not technology for its own sake. Most engagements start with a fixed-price Discovery Audit that measures where staff time is going today, followed by a Proof of Concept on the single use case with the clearest payback. We tell clients in writing what a project is likely to save before they commit to a build. If a process is not worth automating, we say so.
We work with non-technical business owners and operations leaders. You do not need an engineering team, a data science function, or prior AI experience to work with us. You need a process that is costing you time or money, and a willingness to measure the result.

We deliver four core services to Greater Manchester businesses.
AI Training. Workshops and one-to-one sessions that take your team from general awareness to safe, productive daily use of AI tools. Our credentials
The AI Consultancy group holds certifications with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Nvidia. The group is also a verified Anthropic Consulting Partner, which means our work with Anthropic's Claude models is recognised by the model provider directly. These credentials are held at group level and apply to every branch, including Manchester.
In practice, this matters for two reasons. First, it means architecture decisions are made by a team that builds on these platforms regularly, not a generalist guessing at cloud configuration. Second, it means UK data residency, security, and compliance are designed in from the start, using the London or EU regions of the relevant cloud provider, rather than treated as an afterthought.
How we work
We use a simple internal model: one senior consultant owns each engagement end to end, supported by the group's wider delivery team. You are not handed between account managers and a separate build team. The person who scopes your project is accountable for the result.
We match the build to the stage you are at. If you have an idea and need to know whether it is worth pursuing, we start at the prototype stage and keep the spend small. If you have validated the idea and need to prove it works on your real data, we run a pilot. If you are ready to put a process into daily production use, we build for production, with error handling, audit logging, and the ability to pause or roll back at any time. Matching the build to the stage keeps cost proportionate to the certainty you have, and stops you paying for production engineering on an idea that has not been tested.

Our team
AI Consultant Manchester is staffed by senior consultants drawn from The AI Consultancy group, holding the group's AWS, Google Cloud, Nvidia, and Anthropic Consulting Partner credentials between them. The group has delivered AI strategy, cloud architecture, workflow automation, funding research, and bespoke AI product builds across logistics, dentistry, construction, education, professional services, and local government.
The Manchester office is led at senior consultant level. We will introduce the named lead and add Person schema once the appointment is published; until then, the engagement-by-engagement accountability described above is the working structure clients deal with.
